Cheri Pettiford

Cheri Pettiford serves as the passionate Executive Director of Ethan's Army. With a deep commitment to empowering the African American neurodivergent community, Cheri has been a driving force in creating spaces where individuals can thrive socially and culturally. Her journey began as a dedicated mother looking to make a difference in her son's life, which inspired her to found this organization. She has successfully used her personal experiences to guide the team in advocating for the underserved community, bringing a wealth of knowledge and compassion to every project. 

Having worked extensively in advocacy services, Cheri holds numerous certifications in nonprofit leadership and community development, lending credibility and expert insight to Ethan's Army. Her many achievements include orchestrating impactful events that weave history and personal growth into enriching experiences for all participants. Cheri believes in the power of stories and strives to create a future where the voices of African American neurodivergent individuals are celebrated and elevated. Through her work, she nurtures growth, celebrates cultural pride, and fosters an inclusive environment where everyone is encouraged to embrace their unique identity.
